On holiday in this brand new place,
I met a lady with enchanting grace,
The lovely views, the museums, are treasures to behold,
But none can match a meeting made of gold,

We quickly bonded over tastes we shared,
For felines, we both truly cared,
So I ventured closer, brave enough to stroke
Her tricolor fur, and a kindred bond awoke,

She let out a soft and purring sound,
A sign of contentment, plain and profound,
Of all summer meetings, those with cats
Outshine the rest, no joy tops that.
